Annabel Fraser presents the final entry in Mixtape Club’s first season — an expertly programmed hour of zoned out dance records from distant corners.

A firm favourite of Manchester’s club scene, Annabel turns in a masterclass in genre-spanning DJing and a perfect example of the distinct style she’s built a loyal following for over the past decade — records first, no genres, no mixing, no rules.

The mix sprawls across different shades of heads down, wigged out dance records: “big soundsystem, no house music, danceable weirdness” in Annabel’s own words. The less said the better, really.

Annabel has held down residencies across Manchester at Soup Kitchen, Hidden and Salford’s The White Hotel, where she regularly plays marathon sets spanning an entire night or day. She also helms a much loved NTS Radio show, broadcasting two hours of “obscure weirdo music” every month for the past six years.
